The OnePlus 12 is confirmed to feature a reasonably powerful vapor chamber cooling system, which has undoubtedly boosted this score. Li Jie, president of OnePlus China, mentioned that the company collaborated with game developers, manufacturers, and chip makers to optimize the phone’s gaming performance.

The phone is scheduled to launch next week in China, with its global launch to follow in January, although the exact date has yet to be announced by OnePlus. It is rumored that it could be January 23.
OnePlus has already shared the design of the OnePlus 12 through several images, confirming the rear camera setup and other details. The phone will support wireless charging; its screen will have a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, among other features. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and will come pre-installed with Android 14 and OxygenOS 14.
The device is rumored to have a 5,400mAh battery and support 100W fast charging. Although the wireless charging speed has yet to be confirmed by the company, it is expected to support 50W.
